 | San Ramon Valley Fire crews responded to a two-alarm fire at 18722 Bollinger Canyon Road on Tuesday afternoon, said Fire Chief Richard Price.
The blaze was first reported around 4:40 p.m. at a private commercial building, Price said. The 4,000 square foot building, which housed home improvement and construction contractor businesses, sustained approximately $200,000 in content damages. There is no estimate yet on the damage to the structure itself.
Crews contained the fire in 30 minutes, but called two alarms because the building was near a heavy brush area. No grass or wild fire occurred.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was around the building when it caught fire, and there were no injuries, Price said. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
