Greetings and salutations from your new editor!

Those of you with an eye for detail may have noticed a new name popping up on your screen and on the homepage of Embarcadero Media, the parent company for San Ramon Express. Allow me to introduce myself as the new editor. My name is Jessica Lipsky and I have spent the past five years freelancing for various Bay Area publications, including the Contra Costa Times, the Oakland Tribune and KQED radio. I'm passionate about community radio and currently produce and host a late-night program at KUSF 90.3 f.m.

Emily West, the former editor of the San Ramon Express and Danville Express, has moved on to a new career in a different field and left some mighty big shoes to fill. As a Tri-Valley native and Cal High grad, I am really excited to get re-acquainted with my hometown and continue to publish the high-quality stories San Ramon Express is known for.
