JRM,
While most other cities are complying with the state's request to post salaries (a proposed state law didn't pass), San Ramon has refused. They say a salary schedule is on their website, but it's just pay grades and ranges.
However, the full details are on a state website: Web Link.
Bear in mind that SR doesn't have an assistant city manager, and officials say that justifies Moniz's high salary.
You might want to check the story in tomorrow's San Ramon Express.

Everyone should check the weblink from JRM. That link says the Bell city manager is making $1,171,423 as of June 30, 2009. How can San Ramon be the highest in the state according to this survey?
