Dougherty Station Library

Original post made by Elaine on Jan 16, 2010

I'm typing this from a computer at Dougherty Station Library, sitting by a window. Cold air is seeping around the windows making the area so uncomfortable. It's not so terribly cold outside (about 50 degrees) to make it so cold inside. There's only a bit of a breeze, not a strong wind.

Since this is a fairly new building, it's surprising that it wasn't better built. Esp during a time when we need to conserve resources for so many reasons, it's important that energy isn't wasted. Amending the windows to keep the breeze out is such an easy fix but hasn't been done. Could this be why certain staff members here are so grumpy?
