June 23 City Council Meeting Preview

The Council will appoint the Student member of the Parks Commission. The student member serves for one year and also heads the Teen Council.

The Consent Calendar has an item to renew T-Mobile wireless antennae on several lampposts around San Ramon. So we should all expect a visit from Catherine Zeta-Jones any time now.

New business includes reimbursing Shapell for improvements to Bollinger Canyon Road, and approving the Statement of Investment Policy for Fiscal Year 2009-10. The first priority of the policy is safety, the second is liquidity, and the third is yield. The Investment Policy was approved by the Finance Committee, which added FDIC insured bonds to the list of permitted investments.
