Town Square
Students FLIP for Science
Original post made by Christy Tyler on Nov 23, 2009
I have a classroom project submitted to DonorsChoose.org. Please take a moment to read more about my project. With the economic downturn for districts and schools tightening budgets, I find myself turning to people like you to help me give my students the opportunity to learn through different ways. The Flip Cameras will provide my students with a 21st Century Learning Environment which will bring science to life. Together we will record various projects both in the classroom and at home that will be made into podcasts or posted on a classroom blog. This will provide an opportunity for students to showcase their learning and share their experiences with the community and other students via the world wide web.
Using technology in my classroom is very important to my students and me. With your help, the Flip cameras will give us an innovative way to make observations and conclusions about lab activities or science in the world around us. You can find my project at:

Every penny counts! I need to find funding for my project to make the dream a reality. Thanks for your support and kindness.
