Members of the San Ramon 24 Hr Fitness Club are enraged over the cancellation of their favorite Step Class held every noon time on thursdays. Some members are up in arms and talking about boycotting future classes. There will be a meeting with the VP of Group Fitness on May 4th at 1pm to present their case.

If a class, even though it is popular, only have 30 people in attendance, then it would be cancelled. It is a number thing. They are not really concern with what the members want.

| Posted by pterrell, a resident of San Ramon, on Apr 30, 2010 at 2:01 pm Yes, it is a numbers game. 24 Hour Fitness seems to define popular as over thirty participants. So this class is not "popular".
A two-hour class of playing with my 18-month infant may be popular with my wife and me, but I doubt I could get twenty-eight others to agree. :-)
